Black History Month 2021 Celebration at UTSA

February 1, 2021
Black History Month 2021 Celebration at UTSA

Throughout the month of February, the UTSA community will recognize and celebrate the contributions of Black Americans to our university, city, state, and nation through a series of planned events and activities.  The theme for this year’s UTSA celebration is “Mattering is the Minimum.”

Visit the Black History Month website for a full lineup of events hosted throughout the month.  All events will take place virtually this year.  The scheduled events represent campus-wide collaborations between academic units, university departments, and student organizations

These events echo UTSA’s commitment to uplifting and advocating for racial justice, with a focus on amplifying the message that Black culture, stories, lives, love, health, and education matter deeply within our community.

The entire UTSA community is invited to take part in the 2021 Black History Month celebration.  Follow @UTSAStudents on social media for event updates and information.
